Pathfinding — who needs what?
13 July 2026
It felt easy to get started, now that the mandate to start working was finally given to me. I could always see the next logical step.
That stacked small pieces of work on top of each other until we had a solution that worked.
The most productive time for me is early mornings and I had very prolific months at this point. Gradually, however, the early morning routines had started to feel heavier.
We had reached a plateau where everything important was working, but the road ahead was no longer as obvious as before.
It was not that I didn’t have ideas on moving forward, but rather, the options were so many that I didn’t know what path to take. I wasn’t sure the next initiative I took from here would actually do anything good for the project.
It became clear the project was lacking a clear goal my inner compass couldn’t guide me towards.
The Buildmate group was extended with the intention to move the project forward. Nevertheless, it didn’t solve the issue that we needed a pulling force from outside the Buildmate group to know where we should be heading.
What was still unclear was from where — the sales organisation, direct customer demand or something totally different?
